Donovan Quinn recorded October Lanterns late in the evenings of 2002 and 2003, while living on a horse ranch in Walnut Creek, California. It's a home recorded DIY affair of the bedroom school, a bit off-key and folky, and calls to mind the recorded works of Treacy and Kusworth at their most dour. The mood is dark, maybe even morbid, but has a sweetness to it that betrays both a sense of humor and nostalgia beneath the surface.

Our man Stefan Neville, AKA Pumice, travelled to the USA in summer 2006 to embark on his first-ever North American tour, in support of Yeahnahvienna. To commemorate the trek we present Patu, a limited tour CDR released in conjunction with Stefan's own Stabbies Etc imprint. Patu features an assortment of outtakes, radio sessions, dream collaborations, cover songs and hard-to-find rarities. Also included an early version of Pipi, also found on the Soft Abuse release, Pebbles.

Shawn Gallagher is this Bad Animal. He was formerly known as Mozart in the world famous band Sweet Pickles. He is a former member of many notable bands, including Plastic Mastery (Magic Marker), the aforementioned Sweet Pickles (Insane Records) and Treasure, which he formed at age nine. He once ate a bad food item, and then he became the Bad Animal. Indigenous to Knoxville, TN, Bad Animal hooks his prey with catchy Casio beats and rhythms, and kills them slowly with songs of love, songs of hope and songs of disappointment. . The hunted marks a return to the SK-1 and features at least five infectious, unforgettable songs.   Maybe more.
